Justice League of America #22 September 1963 In a Nutshell Part 2 of the first JLA/JSA crossover essentially boils down to a prison break, followed by sixteen heroes bum-rushing the bad guys. Roll Call The first two chapters of this story show the Justice Society and the JLA apprehending their respective villains. But as soon as the Green Lanterns rescue the captured Flashes, a trap is sprung that frees the criminals and imprisons the heroes. So nothing that happened in the first half of the book counts as contribution credit. The Atom deduces that the cages they have been trapped in have been specifically designed to counter the powers of their occupants. All they need to do to free themselves is get creative. The Green Lanterns use their power rings to shrink their way out of their cages, then free the Flashes. The Flashes are able to liberate Wonder Woman and Black Canary .
