In a Nutshell

The Impossibles have teleported five Justice Leaguers to the alien world of Marithania to strip them of their powers, because they instinctively know it’s something that needs to be done. The non-powered Leaguers then defeat an alien invasion in ways that would not have worked if they still had their powers.  

Roll Call

The full League is assembled for a meeting at the start of the issue, but only those members who did not earn their own super-powers are selected by the Impossibles. That means only Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, the Martian Manhunter and Aquaman participate in the adventure.

After losing their super-powers, the five Leaguers work together to defeat the invading Contra aliens by exploiting their own former weaknesses.

The Scorecard

We haven’t seen much of Aquaman and J’onn J’onzz over the last two years, so it’s nice to see them each pick up a contribution point.
